Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park, colloquially known as Elitch's (formerly known as Elitch Zoological Gardens, first and second incarnation of Elitch Gardens, Elitch Gardens - The Great Escape and Six Flags Elitch Gardens), is an amusement park in Denver, Colorado. It is owned by KSE Radio Ventures, LLC and operated by Premier Parks, LLC. Distinctive for being located in a downtown area, it is open April through October.

Water World (also known as, Hyland Hills Water World or Water World Colorado) is a water park that is part of the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District and located in Federal Heights, Colorado, roughly 10 mi north of downtown Denver, Colorado. The park first opened in August 1979 with the first two waterslides in the state of Colorado, the Bonzai Pipeline. Water World is generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but may be closed some school days.

Elitch Gardens was a family-owned seasonal amusement park, theater, and botanic garden in the West Highland neighborhood in northwest Denver, Colorado, United States, at 38th Avenue and Tennyson Street. For more than a century Elitch's was one of the most popular entertainment destinations in Colorado. It was nationally known for its luscious gardens, the Elitch Theatre, the Trocadero Ballroom, and the premier wooden roller coaster, Mister Twister. The park moved to downtown Denver in 1994 and later in November 1998 became Six Flags Elitch Gardens (now simply Elitch Gardens once again). The former location has been redeveloped.

The River Mile is a planned 62 acre master-planned, mixed-use community in Denver, Colorado. The site is currently home to Elitch Gardens Theme Park, an amusement park and water park dating back to its current location in 1995. The development gets its name from the adjacent South Platte River, of which the development runs about 1 mi along the river. The project largely follows a New Urbanist design, emphasizing the "human-scale" development over auto-centric development. The project would be complimented by more mixed-use redevelopments occurring around the Ball Arena, Mile High Stadium, and Auraria Campus, all of which emphasize similar goals as The River Mile.
