Coney Island was a seasonal amusement park and water park destination on the banks of the Ohio River in Cincinnati, Ohio, located approximately 10 mi east of the downtown area adjacent to Riverbend Music Center. One of its signature attractions, the Sunlite Pool, was the largest recirculating pool in North America and one of the largest of its kind in the world. Coney Island first opened as a picnic grove in 1870, and by the turn of the century, the park had added a lineup of popular amusement rides and significantly increased in size.

The Python was a D.P.V. Rides designed Zyklon-style steel roller coaster. It operated from 1996 to 1999 at Splash Zone Water Park, but was relocated to Coney Island at the end of the 1999 season. Following Coney Island's removal of all their amusement rides in 2019, the Python was sold to an independent ride operator - Kissel Entertainment, who refurbished the coaster and began touring with it in 2023.

Stricker's Grove is a family owned amusement park located in Ross, Ohio, USA. Unlike other amusement parks, Stricker's Grove is closed to the public for most of the year. Instead, it is rented out for private functions, such as weddings. The park is open to the public for 8 days of every year, on July 4, 4 days in mid July for the Hamilton County 4-H Community Fair, the second Sunday in August (Family Day), Labor Day, and a Sunday in October called "Customer Appreciation Day".
