Everland

Everland is South Korea's largest theme park. It is located at the Everland Resort in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. In 2018, it received 5.85 million visitors and was ranked 19th in the world for amusement park attendance. As of 2010, Everland is measured to be approximately 1,200,000 square yards. Along with its main attractions, Everland includes a zoo and water park known as Caribbean Bay. Everland is operated by Samsung C&T Corporation (formerly known as Samsung Everland, Cheil Industries), which is a subsidiary of the Samsung Group.

T Express is a wooden roller coaster at the Everland theme park in Yongin, South Korea. T Express opened on March 14, 2008, in the European Adventure section of the park, and is themed after a small town in the Alps. The coaster was constructed by Intamin, a Swiss manufacturing company, and designed by Ing.-Büro Stengel GmbH, a German roller coaster design facility. In April 2024, parts of its track underwent a steel retracking.

Seoul Land is an amusement park opened in 1988, in Gwacheon, a city in Gyeonggi-do province, South Korea. It is located in the Seoul Grand Park complex. It opened just before the 1988 Summer Olympics. It has about 40 rides, including roller coasters and movie theaters. Seasonal festivals are held in the park. It is smaller than Everland, but closer to Seoul, about one hour away from downtown. Approximately 3–3.5 million people visit the park each a year. Roughly a third of its 300,000 m2 is green space, the rest being packed with attractions.

Herky and Timmy's Racing Coaster is a Vekoma Junior Coaster in Everland, Yongin, South Korea which opened on October 1, 2005. It is located in the Aesop's Village section of the park, which was created to celebrate Everland's 30th anniversary. The ride itself is themed after The Tortoise and the Hare, an Aesop fable. The roller coaster initially went forwards, but after a New Year's Day event during December 2019 to February 2020, it started to go backwards. Herky and Timmy's Racing Coaster is South Korea's first roller coaster to go backwards.
